To Do and See:

Crescent City Classic 10K - On Saturday 4/19. It's similar to Bay to Breakers in San Francisco

Jackson Square + Cafe Du Monde - In the heart of the French Quarter, find street performers, caricature artists, tarot card readers, beignets and chicory coffee (cash only)

The National World War II Museum - Offers a moving and comprehensive look at the stories, sacrifices, and legacy of World War II through its immersive exhibits and extensive collection. Tickets allow same day re-entry. Would be easy to visit before or after the Crawfish Boil on Friday

Sazerac House - 4 blocks from hotel. Free entry and tastings

Preservation Hall - Intimate acoustic jazz, you'll need a reservation

Audubon Park - Grab a daiquiri and head to 'The Fly', a popular destination to sit by the mighty Mississippi

New Orleans Museum of Art and Sculpture Garden - Located in City Park, offers modern and contemporary art

Swamp Tour - 40 mins outside of the city. Has shuttle options.

Easter Day Parade - On Sunday 4/20. Extend the festive spirit on Sunday by experiencing New Orleans' famous Easter parade . Don your Sunday best, a fun costume, or whatever you're comfortable in and head to the French Quarter, where you'll be treated to a lively procession of colorful floats, marching bands, and locals dressed in their Easter finery. It's the perfect way to cap off a memorable wedding weekend and enjoy a quintessential New Orleans tradition with your fellow wedding guests

Arnaud's Restauraunt (French Quarter)- Classic upscale restaurant & lounge featuring Creole cuisine, cocktails & Dixieland jazz since 1918

Tableau (FQ) - Classic New Orleans restaurant located right on Jackson Square. Be sure to check out the balcony

Broussard's (FQ) - Historic, circa-1920 fine-dining spot for high-end Creole fare, plus an intimate courtyard

Galatoire’s Restaurant (FQ) - Famous New Orleans restaurants in the heart of the French Quarter. Great for lunch or dinner. Jackets required for men after 5pm

Commander's Palace (Garden District)- Notable spot for refined Creole fare & an elegant jazz brunch in a chandelier-hung space since 1880

Atchafalaya (GD) - known for Creole shrimp and grits, build your own Bloody Mary bar, and live music
